I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët (/i̽ˈlo˞nstir/ /fjoz/ [academic] [coral]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ithjegrö Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.
The name I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët was founded by Nucisse Chebedric, who was culturaly Wood Elven.
Climate
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 12°C (53°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 1°C (33°F). I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët receives an average of 151 cm/y (59 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4136 m (13569 ft) above sea level.
Overview
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët was founded durring the late 12th century in fall of the year 1083, by Nucisse Chebedric. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët is is constructed arround a series of spacious flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët’s streets. A look around I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët long.

Cultural Notes
I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët lost 104 people, 124 livestock, and 66 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 202, when members of I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët's militia enacted an operation to liberate a particular prison from the enemy. The operation was complicated by an outbreak of plague which struck the ranks, killing many and laying low many more. The conflict ended with the defense of the prison against a siege, which ended in victory for I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët's forces. The war is remembered in legend by I̽lönstir Fyoz Vrët's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
